About these terms
These terms govern your use of Jersey Now (“the site”), which is operated by Granite Digital (“we”, “us”). By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Guidance only
Jersey Now brings together data from third-party sources and, in future, community reports. It is provided “as is” and “as available” for general guidance, and it may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions, in particular tides, ferries, flights and weather. Always check the official source before acting.
Our liability
To the fullest extent permitted by the law of Jersey, we accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or the data it shows. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under the law of Jersey, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Data sources and attribution
Contains States of Jersey information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Jersey v1.0. Live traffic data © TomTom. Roadworks map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Jersey Now is an independent island utility and is not affiliated with the States of Jersey. Data is provided for general guidance and may be delayed or inaccurate, so please do not rely on it for safety-critical decisions.
Community reports
When community reporting is live, reports will be submitted by members of the public and moderated on a best-effort basis, and we will not guarantee their accuracy. When you submit a report you must not include anything that is false, unlawful, or that contains personal information about other people.
Intellectual property
The design, layout and original content of the site belong to Granite Digital. The underlying data remains the property of the providers named on our data sources page and is used under the licences noted there.
Acceptable use
Please do not misuse the site: do not attempt to disrupt it, do not scrape it at scale, and do not use it in any way that breaks the law.
Changes
We may update these terms and the site at any time. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
Governing law
