What you need to know about Jersey today, in one glance.
Jersey Now is a fast, free, no-login status board for the island of Jersey. It answers one question, “what do I need to know about Jersey today?”, with a glanceable dashboard rather than articles. Open it in the morning to plan around the weather, tides and what's on, and again during the day when something changes, such as a road closed, buses on diversion or a ferry cancelled.
How it works
We pull live data from official and specialist feeds, including the Government of Jersey, Ports of Jersey, Open-Meteo, TomTom and others, into one always-current place (each is named on our data sources page). The data is fetched, normalised and cached on our servers, so pages stay fast and keep working even if a source has a wobble.
The community layer
Some of what matters on the island lives in no feed anywhere, such as a flood on the Coast Road, a queue at the tunnel, or a shop out of bread. When community reporting goes live, islanders will be able to flag these, a moderator will check them, and they will appear on the status board.
Independence
Jersey Now is an independent island utility and is not affiliated with the States of Jersey. There is no paywall and no display advertising; any running costs are intended to be covered by local sponsorship of individual modules.
